Hidden in an old playing piece of a royal game, young Prince Kian finds the medallion his ancestor was murdered for. Not trusting his royal advisor, Esothaur, who urges Kian to use the medallion to bring back magic, Kian flees the city with the help of a runaway, Neil.

 

Chased by men looking for him and a horse like his, Kian can’t tell friend from foe. He needs a new horse but lands into trouble when he tries to steal Adelaide’s horse. Kian begs her to help him and offers her sword lessons in exchange. But after a storm forces Kian to find a new camp, they make a discovery that changes Adelaide’s life forever.

 

Unfortunately, Kian learns Neil is in danger and races to save him, not realizing how far Esothaur is willing to go to get his hands on the medallion.
